While Ashley’s show centers on small-town romance, Williams-Paisley’s Farmer Wants a Wife brings city women to rural farmers in search of lasting love.
Both sisters see these shows as opportunities to be their authentic selves, with Williams expressing on Instagram that she has always dreamed of being a TV host, while Williams-Paisley shared with Country Living that stepping into her first unscripted role allowed her to be herself in a new way. Taking over as host for season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife, premiering March 20 on Fox, Williams-Paisley replaces Jennifer Nettles and connects personally with the show’s theme, having transitioned from city life to country living after marrying her husband 21 years ago.She admires the show’s dedication to fostering real connections and is excited to help farmers and hopeful women find love.
